Our tea parlour will be finally closing its doors on 13th December 2024 after 13 years of trading.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all of our customers that have supported us over the years, many that have become good friends over our time here.
Stacey will continue to bake cakes and scones to order until we find a buyer, Richard will also maintain the running of the post office.
On the 14th and 15th December we will be holding an open house from 10.30am - 3:00pm each day, to sell the contents of the tea room. Tea sets, silverware, tablecloths, pictures etc will all be available to purchase
Who We Are
Step back in time and enjoy an afternoon tea in our traditional afternoon tea parlour. All our cakes are homemade and our bread is from the Stonehouse Bakery at Danby.
Our China and Silverware is all vintage for that authentic 1940s feel. Middleton Post Office Tea Parlour is a family run business in the picturesque little village of Middleton in North Yorkshire, within walking distance of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
We offer a selection of cakes, teas and coffees which you can enjoy in the tranquil surroundings of our tea parlour, we also sell all our cakes to take away as well as packed lunches for walkers. During the winter months we also have homemade soups served with local bread
